Walking Update – Week 2, 2019
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 2 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 7th of January to Sunday 13th of January.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Friday with a total of 22,016 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,107 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 121,375 steps. Giving me an average of 17,339 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 221,232 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 2 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 118,223 steps with an average of 16,889 steps per day. The highest day was 19,506 and the lowest day was 15,167. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 2, 2018.
Other Thoughts
With 2018 recently ended I took some time to take a look through the statistics and find which days were more common for high and low step counts. When it comes to the most steps in a day this year it happened to be the weekend, mostly on Saturday, but closely followed by Sunday. With the days where the step count was down a little most commonly on Tuesday, followed by Monday.
The above figures do quite interest me how they do change from year to year. Although interestingly last year Saturday was also the day with the most, high step counts as well. But the low days last year were Monday and Thursday tied.
