Walking Update – Week 36, 2019

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Friday with a total of 19,234 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 14,338 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 5 times this week and walked a total of 117,665 steps. Giving me an average of 16,809 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,165,334 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 36 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 110,607 steps with an average of 15,801 steps per day. The highest day was 16,141 and the lowest day was 15,264. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 36, 2018.
Other Thoughts
I have missed the step goal twice this week and I think it is about time that I put in a little more effort to try and avoid it happening. Things are getting a little more back on track for me and it is just going to take a little more proactiveness to help avoid it happening any more. I do think seven times in a year is enough to miss a target. So I am going to work on finishing the year not without missing a day.
