Walking Update – Week 28, 2019
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 28 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 8th of July to Sunday 14th of July.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Friday with a total of 20,155 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 16,071 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 120,917 steps. Giving me an average of 17,273 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,240,868 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 28 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 140,091 steps with an average of 20,013 steps per day. The highest day was 24,619 and the lowest day was 16,491. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 28, 2018.
Other Thoughts
I thought that it might be about time again to take a look at the difference between my current position this year and back at last year. The current position this year is 3,240,868 steps. While at the same time last year I had recorded 3,293,253.
That puts me about 53,000 steps behind where I was last year. That is a slide backwards of 93,000 steps, as in week 15 when I last compared I was 40,000 ahead of last year. But in saying that there have been a few difficult weeks this year. Hopefully, I am back on track now and things might normalise a little soon.
