Walking Update – Week 15, 2019
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 15 of 2019. The update covers the dates Monday 8th of April to Sunday 14th of April.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Tuesday with a total of 20,354 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,064 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 120,585 steps. Giving me an average of 17,226 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,747,282 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 15 of 2018, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 113,386 steps with an average of 16,198 steps per day. The highest day was 19,733 and the lowest day was 15,183. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 15, 2018.
Other Thoughts
We have got a little way into the year now and I thought it might be a good time to compare the position that I am at with where I was last year. The current year to date step total is 1,747,282. While at the same time last year I was up to a total of 1,707,296 steps.
It looks like I am almost exactly 40,000 steps ahead of where I was last year. But that also brings to my mind that I never talked about setting my step goal for this year. I guess I kind of in my mind took on that I would just be trying for 6.5 million steps for the third time. Never thinking about putting it down on a post here. So I wonder if I will be third time lucky and make it or if that will roll to the next year.
