Walking Update – Week 9, 2016
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 9 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 29th of February to Sunday 6th of March.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Monday with a total of 20,423 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 15,548 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 127,515 steps. Giving me an average of 18,216 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,186,986 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 9 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 97,839 steps with an average of 13,977 steps per day. The highest day was 21,374 and the lowest day was 10,558. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 9, 2015.
Other Thoughts
Being 2016, this year February has that leap day, which means the last day of the month was this week. As such I wanted to share a total for the month of February, which was 520,005 steps. Giving me an average of 17,931 steps per day for the month.
Another little interesting number was that this week last year had a high step day with more steps then this year. That was at the time the biggest day I had recorded as well. But since then I have recorded a day in excess of 30,000 steps.
A look at the progress on the streak for walking 15,000 steps per day now and that is still progressing well and has reached 228 days.
