Walking Update – Week 2, 2016
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 2 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 11th of January to Sunday 17th of January.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 24,598 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 16,673 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 136,899 steps. Giving me an average of 19,557 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 310,413 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 2 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 86,030 steps with an average of 12,290 steps per day. The highest day was 15,067 and the lowest day was 9648. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 2, 2015.
Other Thoughts
The last week has been a good week of walking, with some variation between the days. The total is one towards the higher end of what I have been getting to on a weekly basis. But that is not something that is easily controllable, it entirely depends on where I walk and what I am doing.
The streak is still ongoing and I have now reached 179 days of walking 15,000 steps or more per day.
