Walking Update – Week 28, 2016

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 20,567 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 15,110 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 118,550 steps. Giving me an average of 16,935 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,531,638 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 28 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 96,078 steps with an average of 13,725 steps per day. The highest day was 15,621 and the lowest day was 11,557. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 28, 2015.
Other Thoughts
The one year mark for my streak is getting so close now, as long as everything goes to plan that will be on Thursday night week. At the moment I am still kind of thinking where to go from there, how far to extend the goal out. I don’t think I see myself dropping the goal in the near future, but sometimes 15,000 steps is a little bit of pressure.
The current streak is of course at 361 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps a day.
