Walking Update – Week 26, 2016
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 26 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 27th of June to Sunday 3rd of July.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Monday with a total of 20,081 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 15,715 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 119,514 steps. Giving me an average of 17,073 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,289,544 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 26 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 79,090 steps with an average of 11,298 steps per day. The highest day was 14,643 and the lowest day was 7,293. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 26, 2015.
Other Thoughts
Thursday was the lase day of June and marks the end of the first half of the year. The total steps that walked in June are 511,895, which gives me an average of 17,063 steps per day. I think that the average steps per day is a much better indicator of the month to month change. The main reason for this is that the total for the month is definitely impacted by the difference in days per month. As this can have a minimum 15,000 step variance between a 30 and 31 day month.
The streak keeps on rolling towards the one year mark and this week reaches 347 days in a row walking 15,000 steps.
