Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 19,820 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,327 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 122,647 steps. Giving me an average of 17,521 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,260,347 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 34 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 125,533 steps with an average of 17,933 steps per day. The highest day was 26,354 and the lowest day was 15,813. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 34, 2015.
Other Thoughts
Thursday turned out to have a nice round number this week, with that 19,000 steps. I think that might be only the second time that I have logged an exact number with 000 on the end like that before.
After the dismaying happenings last week in breaking the streak, I am going to set myself a new target for my streak. I am still going to be working towards walking 15,000 steps a day. However, the target for the streak is going to be 400 days in a row now. I could have said just one more than last time, but I think 400 is a nice round number to start with.
