Walking Update – Week 10, 2017

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 18,877 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,420 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 117,551 steps. Giving me an average of 16,793 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,221,707 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 10 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 130,529 steps with an average of 18,647 steps per day. The highest day was 22,337 and the lowest day was 17,243. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 10, 2016.
Other Thoughts
Last week I was a little too focused on getting the first 1 million steps on the board and missed a key number. That is the weekly total of 109,721 and daily average of 15,674. That is the lowest total and daily average for any week since I started my 15,000 steps per day target. That is 84 weeks since the last week that was lower than that. Of course, this is not the best thing to talk about, but still something I would like to bring up to show that everything is not always top numbers and such.
The streak has made it to 183 days in a row walking 15,000 steps this week.
