Walking Update – Week 5, 2017
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 5 of 2017. The update covers the dates Monday 30th of January to Sunday 5th of February.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 21,927 steps. While the lowest day was Thursday with a total of 15,506 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 122,679 steps. Giving me an average of 17,525 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 607,596 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 5 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 128,861 steps with an average of 18,408 steps per day. The highest day was 20,262 and the lowest day was 17,149. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 5, 2016.
Other Thoughts
Tuesday was the last day of January so it is time to look at the numbers for the first month of 2017. The total steps for the month were 519,135, which gives me a daily average of 16,746. Also, the most steps recorded on a single day for the month was 21,211 on the 18th of January.
The streak is still ongoing and I have now reached 148 days in a row walking 15,000 steps per day.
