Walking Update – Week 19, 2017

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Friday with a total of 25,392 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,355 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 134,625 steps. Giving me an average of 19,232 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 2,320,108 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 19 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 121,148 steps with an average of 17,306 steps per day. The highest day was 18,413 and the lowest day was 15,850. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 19, 2016.
Other Thoughts
I thought this week I would do a comparison on where I am at this year compared to last year at the same time. The year to date I have walked 2,320,108 steps in total. Comparing this to last year I had already walked 2,433,874 steps. So at the moment, I am around 113,000 steps behind where I was last year. I think I need to get a tiny bit more walking in if I want to make it to my goal this year.
I am keeping the streak going this week and reach 246 days in a row walking 15,000 steps a day.
