Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 22,733 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 15,087 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 128,846 steps. Giving me an average of 18,406 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 2,185,483 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 18 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 124,611 steps with an average of 17,801 steps per day. The highest day was 19,671 and the lowest day was 16,178. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 18, 2016.
Other Thoughts
In the past weeks, I have talked about some low records for different things. Such as steps in a day, a week, and a month. I even achieved the lowest week since 2015 in the previous weeks as well. The one thing about getting a low number is that you are always going to have that there. It is something that you are not going to be able to change. Unlike getting a high mark, you can always push a little harder to surpass that. Although I do suppose you have the opportunity to always get a lower score. But if you go back far enough you always started at zero somewhere anyway.
With the end of the week I have now reacher 239 days for my streak to walk 15,000 steps per day.
