Walking Update – Week 14, 2017
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 14 of 2017. The update covers the dates Monday 3rd of April to Sunday 9th of April.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 21,478 steps. While the lowest day was Thursday with a total of 15,387 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 135,753 steps. Giving me an average of 19,393 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,703,065 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 14 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 123,306 steps with an average of 17,615 steps per day. The highest day was 20,000 and the lowest day was 15,204. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 14, 2016.
Other Thoughts
Last month turned out to be not such a great month. It was, in fact, the lowest month for steps since I change my goal to 15,000 steps per month. Now as a total for the month it technically isn’t, that was February 2017. However, when you look at the steps based on the average per day, March 2017 was low, down at 16,402 steps per day for 508,468 steps. When you compare that to February which had 506,812 steps for an average of 18,100 steps per day. So the two months were almost the same steps even though one had three extra days.
The streak is still going well with the week helping me to reach 211 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps per month.
