Walking Update – Week 32, 2017

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 17,820 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,031 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 110,524 steps. Giving me an average of 15,789 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,859,007 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 32 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 120,911 steps with an average of 17,284 steps per day. The highest day was 20,550 and the lowest day was 15,392. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 32, 2016.
Other Thoughts
It turns out that looking back at the previous week it was the lowest since I started out walking 15,000 steps a day. That low end of the records was on that I only broke earlier this year as well. But now I have knocked it again. I got an average of 15,665 steps per day, which is just 9 steps per day average less than my previous record.
Looking at this week it was not much better, almost all the days were under 16,000 steps. Not to worry though, I am still making that minimum 15,000 steps per day, and we just do what we can do.
The streak is still going and I have made it to 337 days in a row this week, walking, 15,000 steps per day.
