Walking Update – Week 9, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 19,789 steps. While the lowest day was Friday with a total of 15,314 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 118,853 steps. Giving me an average of 16,979 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,024,001 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 9 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 109,721 steps with an average of 15,674 steps per day. The highest day was 16,836 and the lowest day was 15,039. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 9, 2017.
Other Thoughts
Wednesday brought with it the end of February which means it is time for some extra numbers. But first I also want to make mention of the first milestone for the year, passing 1 million steps. I think that it is maybe running a little behind where it should be for the year.
In February I walked a total of 449,627 steps, giving me an average of 16,058 steps per day. The highest day for steps was the 17th of February with 19,432 steps. While the lowest day for steps was the 25th of February with 15,075 steps. February is the second month in a row where I have not had a single day over 20,000 steps. I will have to see if I can fix that next month.
I am still going well with the daily streak to walk 15,000 steps per day and have reached 175 days.
