Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 18,043 steps. While the lowest day was Friday with a total of 15,501 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 115,078 steps. Giving me an average of 16,439 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 681,909 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 6 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 137,007 steps with an average of 19,572 steps per day. The highest day was 23,648 and the lowest day was 16,408. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 6, 2017.
Other Thoughts
I have reached the first mini-milestone for my daily streak in 2018 with 154 days in a row this week. The plan is to get to 400 days in a row of walking 15,000 steps a day or more. If all goes to plan that should be somewhere around the middle of October. To date, my most days in a row achieving this goal has been 392 which I achieved in Week 33, 2016.
