Walking Update – Week 2, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Sunday with a total of 19,506 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,167 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 118,223 steps. Giving me an average of 16,889 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 230,813 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 2 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 115,877 steps with an average of 16,553 steps per day. The highest day was 17,391 and the lowest day was 15,351. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 2, 2017.
Other Thoughts
I have taken some time and put together a post which brings together all the step data for 2017. It includes the total steps and averages for each week, as well as each month. It is a good idea to bring together all the numbers I think. It can be difficult to connect all the numbers together when they are spread between 52 posts throughout the year.
