Walking Update – Week 23, 2018
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 23 of 2018. The update covers the dates Monday 4th of June to Sunday 10th of June.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 19107 steps. While the lowest day was Friday with a total of 15,558 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 117,701 steps. Giving me an average of 16,814 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 2,681,129 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 23 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 119,882 steps with an average of 17,126 steps per day. The highest day was 20,108 and the lowest day was 15,061. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 23, 2017.
Other Thoughts
Last month I had a problem where my fitness tracker only recorded half the data for the day. I have had the same problem again this week on Thursday, only it was worse. The only data recorded was up until 9 am and I know I had some trouble getting the device to connect and transfer the data. While I can understand that programs and devices can have problems, this is only the second time in over three years. I just hope that it is not going to make a habit of this.
The streak to walk 15,000 steps a day is still going well and is now at 273 days in a row.
