Walking Update – Week 13, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 18,063 steps. While the lowest day was Wednesday with a total of 15,108 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 115,080 steps. Giving me an average of 16,440 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 1,483,510 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 13 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 114,516 steps with an average of 16,359 steps per day. The highest day was 17,644 and the lowest day was 15,194. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 13, 2017.
Other Thoughts
The last day of March landed on Saturday this week and as such, that means that I have a few more numbers for you. In the month of March, I walked a total of 515,253 with an average of 16,621 steps per day. The highest day for walking was the 21st of March with 21,708 steps. While the lowest day for walking was the 24th of March with 15,085 steps. I had to look twice for the lowest day as the 12th of March was just 15,087 steps.
The other thing that happened this week is I passed the halfway mark to my streak goal. I am working towards 400 days in a row walking 15,000 steps a day. The mark I hit this week was 203 days in a row.
