Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 19,082 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 16,150 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 121,067 steps. Giving me an average of 17,295 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,536,790 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 30 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 116,120 steps with an average of 16,588 steps per day. The highest day was 19,091 and the lowest day was 15,099. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 30, 2017.
Other Thoughts
Monday this week marks exactly three years since I set forth on my goal of 15,000 steps per day. I have definitely had some ups and downs on achieving that every day. But for the most part, I have done quite well. In the past three years, I have only missed the 15,000 step goal three times and each time by less than 1,000 steps.
Having only missed the 15,000 step goal three times still does put me on my third attempt to reach 400-days in a row achieving that goal. With this weeks walking, I am currently at 322 days in a row with 78 days to go.
