Walking Update – Week 3, 2016
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 3 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 18th of January to Sunday 24th of January.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Monday with a total of 20,393 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 16,279 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 131,085 steps. Giving me an average of 18,726 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 441,498 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 3 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 112,867 steps with an average of 16,123 steps per day. The highest day was 20,919 and the lowest day was 10,659. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 3, 2015.
Other Thoughts
Even though the end of a year is quite a big thing when it comes to tracking these steps it is rather insignificant. Yes, some of the numbers reset, but otherwise, it all just keeps going on.
Speaking of things going on, the streak is still going well and reaches 183 days this week. That comes in at half a year of walking 15,000 steps per day.
