Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Thursday with a total of 20,389 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 14,542 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 6 times this week and walked a total of 119,868 steps. Giving me an average of 17,124 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,498,493 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 36 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 124,813 steps with an average of 17,830 steps per day. The highest day was 24,308 and the lowest day was 15,120. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 36, 2015.
Other Thoughts
It appears that I have missed my step goal again in just a few short weeks. On this occasion, it was not just a simple matter of not paying attention. Well, I suppose in a way it was. On Saturday and Sunday, I had a conference that I was attending, which included a dinner on Saturday night. Between the time spent sitting in seminars and everything else, it was very difficult even to get to these steps.
The last steps I recorded was around 10.30 pm but by this time with some rain around the hotel room was really the only place, and I had to be up early to get breakfast in and return to the conference the following morning. I likely would have pushed to get it done, except for the recent missed day and such a short way into the current streak. So I guess it is time to start again with 1 day on the board.
