Walking Update – Week 35, 2016
Following you will find an update on my walking statistics for week 35 of 2016. The update covers the dates Monday 29th of August to Sunday 4th of September.

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Monday with a total of 18,211 steps. While the lowest day was Tuesday with a total of 15,488 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 118,278 steps. Giving me an average of 16,896 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,378,625 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 35 of 2015, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 113,502 steps with an average of 16,214 steps per day. The highest day was 17,803 and the lowest day was 15,181. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 35, 2015.
Other Thoughts
As it turns out Wednesday was the last day of August so it is that time for a couple of extra numbers for the month. In August I walked a total of 526,890 steps, which works out to an average of 16,996 steps per day. That is actually a drop of almost 500 steps per day from July, but of course still well above the 15,000 per day target.
The new streak is moving along well and has reached 17 days in a row now, walking 15,000 steps per day.
