Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 19,570 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 14,193 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 6 times this week and walked a total of 109,964 steps. Giving me an average of 15,709 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,320,986 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 36 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 119,868 steps with an average of 17,124 steps per day. The highest day was 20,389 and the lowest day was 14,542. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 36, 2016.
Other Thoughts
It turns out my thoughts this week are definitely not what I expected them to be. I ended the week on a big down note missing my 15,000 step target and breaking my streak.
The timing is definitely ironic though, it turns out to be 364 days since I started the streak this time. That was back in Week 36 of 2015. It highlights what can happen if you are not paying close attention and let things slip.
