Walking Update – Week 35, 2017

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Friday with a total of 19,402 steps. While the lowest day was Monday with a total of 15,031 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 116,539 steps. Giving me an average of 16,648 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 4,211,022 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 35 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 118,278 steps with an average of 16,986 steps per day. The highest day was 18,211 and the lowest day was 15,488. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 35, 2016.
Other Thoughts
Thursday was the end of August and that means it is time for some more monthly numbers. The month of August saw me walk 501,856 steps in total with an average of 16,189 steps per day. The day with the most steps in August was the 16th with 20,891 steps. While the day with the least steps was a tie with the 7th and 28th of August both recording 15,031 steps.
Another interesting little coincidence occurred this week on Wednesday and Thursday. The two consecutive days had just one step difference with a single step more on Thursday.
The streak is still going well and I have now reached 358 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps a day.
