Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 20,891 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 15,384 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 120,239 steps. Giving me an average of 17,177 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 3,979,246 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 33 of 2016, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 112,926 steps with an average of 16,132 steps per day. The highest day was 19,547 and the lowest day was 14,992. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 33, 2016.
Other Thoughts
There is nothing much to add this week, except to mention it definitely picked up a little from last week. I do have another photo to share today, not exactly from one of my walks, but of a location that I do enjoy walking at times. I met with some friends for lunch at Wellington Point and some of them were interested to see my drone in the air. The result was this photo looking across Wellington Point towards King Island. In this photo, it is high tide but at low tide, there is a sand bar that is exposed and allows you to walk out to King Island.
The streak is now up to 344 days in a row, walking 15,000 steps a day.
