Walking Update – Week 8, 2018

Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Saturday with a total of 17,810 steps. While the lowest day was Sunday with a total of 15,075 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 7 times this week and walked a total of 109,920 steps. Giving me an average of 15,702 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 905,148 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 8 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 131,077 steps with an average of 18,725 steps per day. The highest day was 23,577 and the lowest day was 15,725. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 8, 2017.
Other Thoughts
There is not much to write about this week. Although you might see in the numbers that I did take a few attempts at getting the lowest steps in a day this week. Tuesday to Friday were all rather low counts and just come in over the goal. But then on Saturday I got my high day for the week and followed it immediately afterwards with the lowest day of the week.
I have not got the streak to walk 15,000 steps a day up to 168 days in a row, aiming for that 400-mark for the third time.
