Stepping Numbers
I am a bit of a numbers geek at times, so of course, I like to look a little closer at some of the numbers behind the individual days.
First up is the highest day for the week which was Wednesday with a total of 20,237 steps. While the lowest day was Saturday with a total of 15,054 steps.
I hit my daily step goal a total of 6 times this week and walked a total of 120,757 steps. Giving me an average of 17,251 steps per day across the week. With my steps this week that gives me 5,464,438 steps for the year to date.
This Time Last Year
Looking back to Week 46 of 2017, following are some of the step numbers for comparison. I walked a total of 112,508 steps with an average of 16,072 steps per day. The highest day was 17,166 and the lowest day was 15,084. To read more check out Walking Update – Week 46, 2017.
Other Thoughts
There was always that chance, even before I hit the 400-day mark that I could miss the 15,000 steps because of lack of attention. This week that came to being, with a day with just 14,780 steps. So that brings the streak to an end at 428 days.
I am somewhat happy with that result, while I would have loved to keep it going much longer. To make it to the next milestone of 500-days, or who knows how many days in a row. Of course, you cannot always keep going every time.
